Park Royal is following other parts of London and the UK where commuters can rent bicycles to complete their travel journeys.

Bicycle rental company OY Bike has set up several sites near to train stations in the Park Royal area including North Acton and Willesden Junction as well as at Central Middlesex Hospital. The introduction of OY Bike follows expansion by the company which operates similar schemes in across Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush and Fulham.

Commuters who don't want the hassle of cycling long journeys can arrive at the a bike location, call the service on a mobile phone and get a text by return which provides a code to unlock the bike.

At the end of the day, the bike can be returned to any location.
