Park Royal Partnership has announced an addition to their senior management team with the appointment of Joanne Lyall, formerly the New Zealand Trade Commissioner to the UK and Ireland. During her five and half year diplomatic posting to London, Joanne was responsible for stimulating New Zealand’s economic development through a proactive market driven strategy within the UK, Ireland and Europe. Prior to this, Joanne had a similar diplomatic role as New Zealand’s trade commissioner in Australia. Commenting on her new role at Park Royal Partnership, Joanne Lyall comments, “People must wonder how you can follow a dynamic role co-ordinating trade promotion for a country such as New Zealand. I am very fortunate to have found a challenging role representing a large, diverse economy which has a lot of similarities with the New Zealand economy. West London, and specifically the lynchpin Park Royal estate and its member companies, offers great scope for me to focus my experience and energy. “I am looking forward to working with the many businesses located on Europe’s largest industrial estate”. As Director of Business Growth, members of Park Royal Partnership will be able to access Joanne’s wealth of commercial skills and experience to help them grow and become even more successful. Her new role will also include a remit to support and develop the membership of PRP and develop the infrastructure to support business attraction and growth in the Park Royal area of West London. Jackie Sadek, chief executive, Park Royal Partnership comments, “I am thrilled that Joanne has chosen to join our talented team and am sure that our members and colleagues will equally benefit from her energy, experience and enthusiasm in assisting small business growth and advising companies on how they can remain competitive and successful in changing market conditions. “I am personally delighted to welcome her, and am already very excited anticipating her contribution. I make no bones about the fact that we need to attract new companies to the area while retaining a solid manufacturing base within the Estate, and I truly believe that Joanne’s contribution will prove invaluable to our membership offer and continue to enable businesses to successfully trade and grow here on the Estate.”
